Structural Framing Subcontractor for Production Builders

Turnkey house framing for whole communities across Savannah, Pooler, Richmond Hill, Rincon and Port Wentworth — crew capacity that holds cycle times, wood framing that passes inspection the first time, and a subcontractor who's ready for your prequalification process, not surprised by it.

Turnkey Production Framing Capabilities

GMR has framed more than 5,000 homes in ten years — full-community structural framing packages for production builders across the Savannah metro: single-family subdivisions, townhome rows, and per-plan repeat builds. One standard of rough carpentry, from the model home to the last closing.

Subdivision Framing Crews That Scale

Subdivision framing crews sized to run multiple houses in parallel and hold your cycle times — short mobilization from our Bloomingdale yard to any site in the metro.

Safety & Site Discipline

Written safety program, clean and inspection-ready sites, and framing details your superintendents don't have to chase.

Insured & Prequalification-Ready

General liability and workers' compensation in place, certificates of insurance on request, and a prequalification packet we can send the same day you ask.

Schedule Integration

We plug into your build schedule, coordinate with your GC and inspectors, and deliver dried-in on the date we committed to — so downstream trades start on time.

Checking Us Out Before You Invite a Bid?

Most builders find us by referral and then look us up before sending an invitation. Here is everything your team usually wants to confirm, in one place.

Insurance & documentation

General liability and workers’ compensation in force; certificates naming your company available on request, along with W-9 and license information for Georgia and South Carolina. See what’s in the packet.

Track record

More than 5,000 homes framed in ten years across the Savannah metro and the SC Lowcountry — production communities, custom residences, and everything between. Builder references available on request.

Code mastery, not code guessing

Coastal wind-zone framing under two different state codes — continuous load path, strapping schedules, shear walls, engineered lumber — built to pass framing inspection the first time. Read our code guide.

Site conduct

Clean, inspection-ready sites and a written safety program — because your superintendent should never have to chase our crew about either.

FAQ

Builder Questions, Answered Straight

What do you need from us to bid a community?

Plan sets with structural engineering, the unit mix, and your target schedule. GMR returns a framing takeoff and an itemized bid, and can walk your team through it plan by plan.

Can GMR pass our subcontractor prequalification?

Yes — prequalification is normal business for us. General liability and workers’ compensation are in place, certificates of insurance are available on request, and we maintain a prequalification packet we can send the same day you ask.

Can your crews hold production cycle times?

Holding cycle times is the core of our production framing program. Crews are sized to run multiple houses in parallel, mobilization from Bloomingdale is short anywhere in the Savannah metro, and dried-in dates are commitments, not estimates.

Do you frame townhomes and multi-family?

Yes — townhomes, wood-frame multi-family and apartment buildings, and light commercial wood structures are all core work for us. See our commercial and multi-family framing page, or send the plans and schedule and we will tell you exactly what we can commit to.

Have a community coming out of the ground?

Send the plans — you get a bid and a prequalification packet back.
